But, seeing as it was such a memorable class, I felt the need to.
I presented my Twitterive assignment yesterday. I was so anxious to get it over with. I really had wanted to present it last Thursday. However, I'm extremely happy that I presented when I did. I threw my hand up the second class started. I just wanted to present and get immediate feedback because I had several questions that needed answers from others. I had "twitterive block". I was also happy that I presented on a day that involved several moving stories.
I broke the ice by presenting my thoughts about dance and how it helps me cope with having Tourette's Syndrome.
I was followed by Darren who had a very interesting twitterive. He had a fictional situation about a man going back to being a child. I enjoyed the way he approached the character and story.
Next was David. He opened with the words Nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Immediately my head popped up from my computer screen. I thought, what the hell does that mean. He continued to tell the class of his inspirational story of battling cancer. His humor and emotions were perfectly balanced. I was so happy he shared his story with us. It was very admirable.
About my Twitterive...
I received some great feedback.
Things I have to consider:
+Make a video of my dancing!!!!
+Elaborate on the whole concept of Overture, Act 1, Intermission, etc.
+More genres (Ex. provided-playbill/program)
I am currently attempting to make a found poem from my favorite songs from "artists that inspire me".
