I think the digital natives today, need technological stimulation, such as games. This would increase the attention spans. Students would stay more interested if the technology was more up to date and matched the content, as the article addressed. As an education major, we are constantly being told that we must integrate technology into our lesson plans. There are also classes that address technology solely. Even the most involved video games are beneficial to students. They may be distracted when playing the video game but it offers a variety of lessons. Many video games have these elaborate stories with a beginning middle and end. Also, students learn how to use strategies and use logic.
The digital immigrants think technology is a distraction because they cannot fully accept the digital natives way of thinking yet.
